About Us
TORNIEL was established in 1997. We are a minority(Hispanic)/woman owned business that specializes in Information Technology services and products. TORNIEL is certified by the:
 North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) as a DBE;
 Dallas/Ft. Worth Minority Business Development Council as a Woman Owned Minority Business, and;
 General Services Commission (GSC) of the State of Texas as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and as a Qualified Information Systems Vendor (QISV).
We serve both the private and government sectors. Our products and services are identified in greater detail through the Our Products and Services pages. These pages also provide access to our various e-Commerce web pages for your shopping convenience. We can provide our products and services as a retailer/service organization, or as a prime contractor or subcontractor on projects or bid proposals. We also look forward opportunities to working with those agencies and organizations who are want or need to fill some of their minority requirements in areas that we can help in.
For our government customers (local, city, county, state and federal) we offer our product information as code structures on our Government page. For our non-government related customers, we look forward to providing you with the best possible products, pricing, and services.
TORNIEL is a member of the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA). Paul Nielsen serves as the Treasurer of the local chapter and is past President and Vice President of the chapter. ICCA helps small technology businesses grow as companies and provides a forum for both local and national issues that affect the computer and related technology areas.
 Patricia Riojas Nielsen is CEO, President and the majority stockholder in TORNIEL.
Patricia can be seen here amongst the clutter of her office. She has a Bachelors of Arts Degree from St. Edward's University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas. Pat has more than 20 years experience managing various business organizations, including positions such as Assistant Director of Human Resources for the City of Dallas.
